Mall

There was a new mall that we were exploring. It was really big. Like the great mall of the great plains in Olathe. Only thing was, I think it might have been located somewhere in California. On one of the shorter wings, it had a large movie theatre and so it seemed to be that we couldn't get through to the other side. Taylor and I decided to walk outside a bit and we saw a cheap no-name skate shop on the outside. We looked across the movie place and saw an identical tower so we knew that there had to be a way across. They had some soft hoodies and such in the skate shop which was one of their selling points. Also, they only cost 3 dollars. The last name of the store owners was something German, really close to Cailie's last name Ercanbraker or something. I made a note to ask her about any relatives she had that might own a skate shop. So we went back into the mall to cut through behind the movie theatre to get over to the other side. A hallway ramped up into an atrium type place that was the food court. It felt like a cross between an ewok village and some old German coo-coo clock. Bridges and wooden structures everywhere with catchy little non-mainstream names for shops and food places. We saw some blond girls that Taylor knew so we sat by them and started to talk. Things took a change to me somehow being on an aircraft carrier. A Russian sub had surfaced along our Port side and it was such a big sub that they had a tank already unloaded and it was driving on top of it with some solders. Everyone was surprised by its appearance as if the sonar hadn't picked up any of it. I was hurrying to accommodate them by lowering some dry dock thing that they could drive off the back of the sub and onto our ship. At the stern of the ship there was one of those portal things on aircraft carriers and all I had to do was use my clearance to push some green buttons and started opening doors and lowering ramps and such. Once I got into the holding area, there were some more stairways that could have been activated so that the Russians wouldn't just be stuck in the holding area but I didn't have clearance, or they just weren't loading. So once they got on the boat, they were very limited on where they could go/explore which is a good thing I guess because they were kind of like bad guys or something.

Powell

We were driving down to southern Utah (possibly lake Powell). There was a city past Springville that had three amazing skateparks in a row and I really wanted to know the name of the city so I could come by and check it out sometime, but we were driving too fast through and didn't stop. Also, no one driving with us seemed to know either. I was on the boat with JHam only the water wasn't out in the open. It was as if a large warehouse was full of water and that's where we had to tie up the boats. On the dock, there were already a ton of boats and so we found a spot to tie up, only the problem was that the anchor wasn't catching. For some reason or another, we had to tie up the boat to the dock as well as cast anchor. We started drifting away out of the spot and finally JHam got the anchor set but we were a good distance from the dock itself. Some girl in a dingy came up and boarded my boat when I was all alone (Jeff had to go check in at the boat house). She seemed like some sort of waitress or employee of the docking area. We had a great night.

Quilt

It started out surfing in Bali or maybe it was in Australia. I was with Taylor and we found this really weird reef that broke all different and such. I had a bunch of good runs on it and learned how to dive forward over the shallow reef when I was crashing so I didn't get hurt very much. I had taken off a bunch of days off at work but for some reason, I had about seven hundred dollars left in credit that I could apply to a flight to Thailand or someplace else on my way home. I really wanted to do this, but I would have to email my boss and ask him if it was ok. Suddenly I was at Disneyland and me and my dad were about to buy a weird crate-full of quilt stuffing that was home made in the sheep area of Disneyland. It was going to cost one hundred dollars. We wanted to get it for grandma so I called her up to ask if it was worth it and if/when she would use it to make her quilts. As I called I got a message on the message machine from David saying, "Hey grandma, is Jacob there? He must be because he is hogging up the line and making Rainne miss her call." I was a bit upset about his accusation. Grandma picked up and talked with me about it. We pulled out some of the quilts stuffing, only they were just polar fleece like the old blankets that grandma had made for us a long time ago, the camouflage, the purple and Nathan's blue one and my red one. We ended up buying them anyway and started to leave. There was a bum passed out in the gutter and mom was upset at herself for trying to figure out what the bum was doing there and who he was trying to visit. He was apparently dad's brother or cousin and she felt bad for some reason or another. I started to try and tell her about the phone message David left on grandma's phone and my mom tried to explain to me how David was being controlled by his mother. When I was in a band playing gigs, he once tried to come down to southern California to see one of my shows but was unable to because of his mother but he couldn't because she wouldn't let him. I just thought that he didn't like me. Lastly Wesley and I were trying to get into our car to get out of the parking lot at some small strip mall. The car next to us was parked really close so we had to squeeze in to open the doors and get in. The girl who was driving the car next to us had roller blades on and as she was getting in, she was asking some questions about getting a driver's license. Wesley decided she was cute and so he tried to start explaining to her all about getting a certain amount of hours in and such before getting the license and also how you could start at age fifteen. I spoke up and reminded him that were we were still in California and that the laws varied from state to state. Then she got into her car and drove off with the roller blades still on. Somehow it worked ok and wasn't illegal in California to drive like that as a minor.

Harmonicas

I was somehow an actor in an episode of lost. At the end of the show, a bunch of people started dying and so did I. Jin ran out on a dock to protect Sun from being shot, and she was fine with it because she already knew that he would die and already knew it was going to happen because she had been traveling through time. I was upset because I liked Jin. Some survivors got into a Alvin type submarine and circled around in the water below us before sinking away. As I got out of the water with the other actors, we were trying to find some towels like at the BYU swimming pool, only the kids had grabbed them all. All they had left were these oversized harmonicas. So everyone could use them to dry off, you just had to blow into them and the air would magnify/amplify and dry off your skin. I was upset because I couldn't blow into it very well at certain angles elsewhere on my body.

Gaffigan

I was visiting New York with some friends. Only it turned out that New York was located in California. We got to hang out with Jim Gaffigan. He was really cool and nice. He had just been elected Governor of California so things were busy, but he showed us his office and gave us his email so we could stay in touch and remain friends.

Lovecraft

I was taking my family on a vacation/trip to visit some cool places in Southern Utah. Then, it was as if it was a game. A game I had already played before sometime except that some things were new. We were stopped in the middle of the street by a blockade. The people in the city acted straight out of a H.P. Lovecraft story. They were busy summoning some dark evil sludge monster. There were actually 3 of them in total, and I was able to dice them up with a samurai sword one by one. After that, the villagers returned to normal and one of the girls there my age fell in love with me. Too bad I had to leave and continue South with my family. As we drove off, I said "I don't remember all of this happening last time." Lastly we came to a swamp filled slot canyon. A crocodile-hunter type guy had set up the only way through. It seemed like a zoo crossed with a narrow loch-system (like in the panama canal). Inside he had a pet/wild great white shark. He demonstrated the ferocity of it by sending some of his goons/slave children running around near the water covered in fresh blood. He then explained it to us thusly: We would all get our packs and slowly wade through the water in a certain formation and moving a certain speed. The shark would interpret us to be a boat of some sort and leave us alone. Somehow, Cameron and Wesley had gotten to the other side of the slot canyon (probably from jumping and climbing around) and so it was just me, Nathan, Mom Dad and Joanna. As we were slowly shuffling through the water, the shark bit onto Nathan's thigh. It wasn't biting hard enough to break skin, but it did make things a bit more nerve racking. As the shark was hanging there, our guide suggested everyone pour their soda into the water. The sugar crystallized and formed a hard crunchy layer on the water that we were able to climb on top of and slowly walk to the opposite side of the slot canyon.

Gondola

It started off in Bali. But it was a touristy place in Bali. But it could have been Hawaii or someplace else. I went to buy groceries and I realized I didn't have my credit card in my wallet. The total came out to $61 USD and luckily I had a 50, a 10 and a 1. But that was going to be it. I figured that I would either have to find my credit card or find a job to earn some cash. The next thing that happened was that we needed to travel to somewhere else and so we got on to these large cement gondola things. They must have been used for shipping purposes, not travel. They went slowly at first but as they started to pick up speed I had to hang on for my life. Not unlike a roller coaster that was swinging down steep inclines. They got to a field down on ground level and we jumped off and started sneaking towards an apartment complex. Back around behind an alleyway and behind fences we started to crawl. An SUV pulled up and so I froze behind the wood fence. The guy got out and started asking "Is anyone there?" He had a flashlight which he shone right where I was hiding. He was looking at my hand and forearm on the ground and was asking himself if that was a human. As he reached down to almost grab it, I stood up and confronted him. He introduced himself as an LDS missionary. It turns out that the apartment complex had some science-learning museum inside where neon black lights were everywhere. I ended up wandering into the basement where we all know is not a good place to go. The same feeling/presence that came from the "house" in downtown Salt Lake was there. I don't remember anything else.
